The Indian Dental Association of California is a non-profit organization founded in 1984 with only a few dentists and has grown to be over 400 life members strong and over 1200 Continuing Education Club Members. IDA of California strives to maintain excellence in dentistry and to preserve our cultural heritage.
As a professional organization, IDA conducts over 42 hours of continuing education annually by hosting nationally and internationally renowned speakers. The association works in concert with other professional organizations and encourages members to take an active part in ADA, CDA, AGD and local chapters.
To preserve our unique Indian cultural inheritance, the association also holds various social and cultural family events like Diwali Celebrations, cultural nights, picnics, cruises, annual banquets and screening of Indian movies. Our members also participate and assist through charity drives and professional services.
